历史沿革[edit]

1966年，原有的两个大队合并，仍称红星大队，属城关公社。1984年起设大同镇红星村民委员会。[1]

人口与民族[edit]

截至2012年末，全村有442户1634人。[2]

文化[edit]

2006年和2009年，红星村两度被评为市级文明村；2011年，又被县委授予先进基层党组织称号。[2]

2021年2月，红星村上榜「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。2023年1月，村被命名为2022年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」。2025年3月，红星村被命名为「第七届全国文明村镇」。[1]
