翠峰村位于县城东北约10公里，属城郊村，村部有水泥路直达。[1][2]

村名因植被翠绿、山峰连绵而得。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

建国初村中设翠峰乡，属第二区。此后几经隶属变动，1984年改设翠峰村民委员会。[1]

人口与民族[edit]

2025年9月公示的《翠峰村村庄规划（2021-2035）修编》引用最新人口普查数据，村现状户籍人口2858人、596户，常住人口1600人、510户。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

村口有一条主干道通往八宝山峰顶。县政府网站把八宝山列为镇内的风景区之一。[1][3]

文化[edit]

「第六届全国文明村镇」称号于2020年11月授予翠峰村。[1]

2023年12月，翠峰村列入龙岩市乡村振兴示范村镇的2023年度名单。2024年2月，村里又成为「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」的创建对象。[1]

2024年1月，翠峰村被命名为2023年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」。[1]
