洪教村在合溪乡西部，是乡辖的行政村。[1]

村名是把大队下属的洪菜窠与教沙两个自然村各取一个字拼成。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年前，这里属上杭县大溪乡的溪南保。解放后归合溪村，设溪南农会；1954年划入合溪乡，1957年转归永定县。1958年成立英雄公社，村子称洪教大队。1984年4月设洪教村民委员会。[1]

2021年1月，村子获命名为2020年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」；2023年1月与2024年1月，又分别获2022年度、2023年度的同类命名。[1]
