溪南村位于合溪乡境内，既是乡政府的驻地，也是集镇所在。[1]

地处溪流南岸，因而得此名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此村曾属上杭县管辖。1949年前它在大溪乡下设溪南保；1957年改归永定，隶合溪乡；1958年并入英雄公社，名为溪南大队。1984年4月设溪南村民委员会。[1]

1928年6月下旬至7月初，永定暴动以溪南为中心，之后溪南一带设立溪南区苏维埃政府。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

1930年至1934年间，中央红色交通线途经溪南，孟良公祠设立交通中站，统辖永定、上杭、连城、长汀各地的交通站。[1][3]

经济[edit]

2011年，村民人均纯收入为4554元。[1]

文化[edit]

2021年6月，溪南村入选「福建省第四批省级传统村落」名单。[1]

2024年1月，溪南村获命名为2023年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」。[1]
