武北村是合溪乡的行政村，截至2015年4月为乡内第二大行政村。[2]

村名来历如下：早先此地有溪北、溪东两保，新中国成立后分为两个管理区，公社化时改称武北大队，名称由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年前，这里属武坑保；新中国成立后归合溪村，设武坑农会。1953年隶属合溪乡，1958年改称武北大队。合溪在1984年建乡，此后设立武北村民委员会。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

截至2015年4月，全村有450户、1906人，共15个村民小组。耕地2151亩（2015年），以水稻为主要作物。[2]

2011年，村民人均纯收入为4412元。[1]
