合溪乡是福建省龙岩市永定区下辖的乡，位于区境西北部，乡政府驻溪南村。东侧接壤堂堡乡，西侧是上杭县的稔田镇，北面为太拔乡与蓝溪镇，南边连着金砂镇与西溪乡。全乡面积108.5平方千米（百度百科），博雅地名网记为110平方千米。[1][2][3]

乡名来自境内武北溪与溪南溪在此会合为一溪的地理情况。截至2020年6月，全乡辖13个行政村。[1][2]

2026年2月，永定区人民政府同意汤湖村与马子凹村两村合并，新的行政村沿用汤湖村的名称。[5]

历史沿革[edit]

明清两代，今乡域属胜运里。1936年4月，丰稔市划归上杭县，合溪则划归永定县。[1][4]

民国时期这里称复兴乡，后改称金胜乡，直属县。1949年至1954年间，本地与汤湖、调虞、合调一起归第八区人民政府统辖，1955年至1958年间则划入金砂区。[4]

1961年设合溪工委，辖合溪、菜地、汤湖三个公社。1965年合溪与菜地两社合并，1971年汤湖社也并入，合为合溪公社。1984年，合溪公社改设为合溪乡。[1][4]

1926年10月，共青团汤湖支部在汤湖长蛟里的天后宫内，依托永定师范而设，被称为福建省第一个农村共青团支部。[6]

1928年6月下旬至7月初，永定暴动以溪南为中心展开，此后在溪南一带建立溪南区苏维埃政府。[6]

红军时期，合溪是中央红色交通线在永定的一段：溪南孟良公祠设有交通中站，天丰、袍山店边设有交通小站，采地湖洋里一带处在通往虎岗的路线上。[7]

2019年末，乡内登记在册的户籍居民共16887人。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

「合溪采地交通站旧址」（王氏宗祠）位于采地村，年代定为1929年。其所在的王氏宗祠，创建时间可追溯到明成化年间（1465年至1487年），格局方正，属土木结构。[9]

「半山交通站旧址」（观音楼）位于合调村半山，同样是1929年前后的遗存。楼宇为方形土木结构，坐北朝南，是清代嘉庆时期（1796年至1820年）修建的。[10]

师俭楼在合溪乡石塘一带，博雅地名网记为溪南村石塘里。楼始建于清代，占地约650平方米，前后两楼以天井相隔，前楼两层、后楼三层，土木结构，大门为砖木结构、歇山顶。[8][2]

汤湖赖氏家庙位于汤湖村，博雅地名网载有陈立夫题词一事。[11]
