大德村是古竹乡下辖的行政村，位于集镇附近，古竹中心小学设在村中，全村辖4个自然村，总面积约4.5平方千米。[1]

地名[edit]

村名原作大旧节。村中有一座祖居楼名为大旧德楼，后因人口增长、楼房随之增多而成村，便以旧楼的名字称村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1957年归古竹乡，1958年由古竹人民公社管理，1970年高头公社并入古竹公社。在此之前，本村所在地民国时称古竹联保，隶上金区与第三区，并称高竹乡、上金乡；明清时隶金丰里。1984年起，村内设古竹乡大德村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2015年10月，本村进入福建省第一批省级传统村落之列；2016年12月被列入第四批中国传统村落名录。福建省爱卫办于2021年11月授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。2022年8月，龙岩市农业农村局认定本村为龙岩市2022年市级「一村一品」专业村（柿子）。2024年1月公布的2023年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」评选中，本村在列。[1]
