坪洋村是古竹乡下辖的行政村，位于乡境东北，东面与南靖县梅林镇接壤，西北与陈东乡相邻，南与高头乡相依。全村总面积5.2平方千米，辖5个自然村。[1]
地名[edit]
此处原为一片森林，林中有一条小溪，溪两岸是平坦的坪地。先人在此开垦良田、建屋定居，便以「坪洋」为村名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1984年设坪洋村民委员会，隶属古竹乡。1970年高头公社并入古竹公社，1958年设古竹人民公社，1957年改属古竹乡。此前民国时期称古竹联保，归上金区与第三区管辖，又称高竹乡、上金乡；明清时期属金丰里。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2020年2月，坪洋村名列「福建省第三批省级传统村落」名单。2024年1月公布的2023年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」评选中，本村获评。2025年11月，本村被认定为福建省2025年度省级「一村一品」专业村，主打百香果。[1]
