黄坑村位于湖山乡南部，东面与平和县芦溪镇的山岗村为邻，南面与秀峰乡龙岭村相接，离永定县城75公里。[1]

名称[edit]

村庄因有黄姓居住而得名。上游山高水长，多黄泥，遇大雨溪水尽黄，洪水退后仍留有黄泥浆，故古称黄坑。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村下辖仰天、黄坑、永罗三个自然村，设9个村民小组。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1951至1958年属杨黄乡；1958至1961年属杨黄管理区；1961至1965年间另设黄坑大队；1984年改为湖山乡黄坑村民委员会。[2]

革命历史[edit]

土地革命时期，村中有人出任饶、和、埔「五坎」区的第一任苏维埃主席。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

2021年十一月，黄坑村被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
