本村在湖山乡最北边，夹在下洋镇与本乡之间，南面与里佳村相接，距乡政府约8公里，是通往邻近乡镇的门户。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此村原名碓下村，1961年出于美化的考虑改为现名。[1][5]

1949年以前隶属平和县，1950年划归永定县管辖。1956年组成高级社，1961年体制改革后设赛华大队，1984年改为湖山乡赛华村民委员会。[1][3]

地理环境[edit]

关于村域面积，两处记载相差较大：博雅地名网作约8平方公里，百度百科作17.4平方公里。[1][4]

人口[edit]

博雅地名网记全村1200多人，辖4个自然村、8个村民小组；百度百科记户籍人口1286人，辖6个自然村，即兰林、碓下、上斜、下斜、坪坑、泥溪仔。[1][4]

姓氏宗族[edit]

村中以沈、刘两姓为主。沈姓约占全村人口的三分之二，原由堂堡乡迁入；刘姓先住在广东省大埔县白喉松柏坑，后迁到兰林自然村。村部设在兰林自然村，紧靠湖洋公路。[2]

经济[edit]

村民以农林为生，种植树木和毛竹是主要的致富项目，青壮年劳动力多数外出务工。[2]

龙岩市农业农村局于2022年8月把赛华村定为「龙岩市2022年市级一村一品专业村」，主产灵芝。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村中的古建筑大多建于解放前。90年代以前建的房屋多为土木结构，以方形和圆形土楼为主；90年代以后改建为砖混结构。[2]
