梅花石村属福建省龙岩市永定区高头镇，位于镇西南部，处在洪坑土楼群与高北土楼群的交界处。村内辖石科、新学堂、内石、学梓岗、瓦寮下五个自然村。[1][3]

地名由来[edit]

村名原为雷打石。二百多年前，有两户人家从高头南山迁来此地，后来曾遭雷击，故称雷打石。此地梅花繁多，花开时只见花不见石，后改称梅花石。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年公社化时设梅花石大队，1960年体制下放后改称管理委员会。1984年建乡后，此地归古竹乡管辖，村名定为梅花石村民委员会。1998年高头乡从古竹乡分出，村随之改属高头乡；2021年6月改称高头镇梅花石村民委员会。[1][4]

地理环境[edit]

村位于高头西南部，步行到承启楼约15分钟，经二级公路622线可直达土楼景区，是前往高头、湖坑客家土楼的必经之路。[1][2][3]

村内还有黑云母、煤矿等矿产资源。[3]

经济[edit]

村民以种植水果、茶叶和烤烟为主。村中出产杨梅、红柿、李子、桃子和西瓜，有「花果山」的称呼。[1][3]
