高南村是福建省龙岩市永定区高头镇下辖的行政村，位于高头镇集镇区内，三面环山，村中小溪与承启楼隔河相望。[1][3]

地名由来[edit]

村名与方位有关。高头四周环山，其南面的山称为南山，村因在这一片而得名高南。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年前，此地属高竹乡高南保；新中国成立后设高南乡。1958年至1961年归湖坑五星人民公社，此后，高南大队隶属高头公社。[1]

1984年后隶属古竹乡，设高南村民委员会。1998年高头乡从古竹乡分出，村随之改属高头乡；2021年6月改称高头镇高南村民委员会。[1][4]

经济[edit]

村中农业为主，种植业占主导，果与茶是两大产业，主要果品为红柿。村内有五湖岽、老虎塘两处成规模的果场。[1][2][3]

文化[edit]

村内设有「江岩读书社」、农民之家和老年活动中心，图书室藏有图书、报刊和杂志。[1][3]

港胞江兆文捐资支持家乡中小学建设，受到福建省政府的表彰。[1][3]

据博雅地名网，村中曾出过7位县长，故有「县长村」之称。[1]

2022年10月，福建省农业农村厅将本村列为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]
