高东村是福建省龙岩市永定区高头镇下辖的行政村，位于高头镇东部，与漳州市南靖县书洋镇相邻，高头集市设在村中。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村名取自地理位置，因地处高头的东部而得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1984年建乡后，此村归古竹乡，称高东村民委员会。1998年高头乡从古竹乡分出，村随之改属高头乡；2021年6月改称高头镇高东村民委员会。[1][3]

1961年改属高头公社，设高东大队；1958年公社化后，并入湖坑五星人民公社。更早时，1952年设高东乡，1956年至1958年为高东农业合作社，1949年前则属东山保。[1]

经济[edit]

村内以水稻、茶叶和红柿等水果为主要产业，村中田禾塘出产的日本甜柿是本村的特色果品。[1][2]

文化[edit]

金丰中学创办于1950年，位于本村，是福建省的二级达标高中。[2]

村庄的荣誉包括：2015年10月入选「福建省第一批省级传统村落」；2019年6月列入「第五批中国传统村落」名录；2021年11月被命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2025年11月被确定为「福建省2025年度省级一村一品专业村」（单枞茶）。[1]
