尚贤村位于洪山镇西端，地处偏远，西面与广东省梅县区松源镇接壤。[1]

村名原作上田梓，后因村中办起学校，改称尚贤。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1989年春，尚贤村民委员会从尚径村民委员会中分设；2021年6月，村民委员会改隶洪山镇。[1][2]

2021年11月，省爱卫办确定尚贤村为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]

2024年1月，村被命名为2023年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」。[1]

地理环境[edit]

虎口岭水库位于村内，2013年完成除险加固工程。[1]
