金砂镇是福建省龙岩市永定区下辖的镇，位于永定城区以西约6公里，北面与上杭县接壤，镇政府驻西田村。[1][2]

2021年5月撤乡设镇之前，此地称金砂乡。1928年永定暴动从金砂发动，金谷寺是其主要策源地，中共永定县委于同年10月在金砂公学成立。[5][7][4][8]

历史沿革[edit]

明清两代此地归溪南里管辖。民国时期组成金砂联保，编入第一区，称金胜乡。新中国成立后，最初划入第八区；1955年设金砂区，1957年又改回乡制。1958年人民公社化时定名金砂公社，1970年并入城关公社，同时另立金砂管理区。[5]

1983年凤城镇设立，此地当时属城郊乡。1984年11月，金砂乡自城郊乡析出，重新建制。2001年2月，五坑村设立。[5]

2021年5月，福建省人民政府批复撤销金砂乡、设立金砂镇，行政区域与政府驻地均未改变。[5][7]

金砂之名，据博雅地名网引述清康熙《永定县志》，古时此地曾称淘金县，相传境内产金，宋代以来已有此地名。[3]

地理环境[edit]

本镇东面与凤城街道、西溪乡相邻，南面接城郊镇，西面为仙师镇，北面与合溪乡毗邻，东北角还与上杭县稔田镇相接。全镇面积51.6平方千米，耕地5063亩，山林6.24万亩；百度百科记面积为52.56平方千米。[1][6]

政府网站称镇内森林覆盖率达80%。国道G357线穿境而过，原为省道309线；古武高速（永定至上杭段）在本镇设有互通出口。[1]

人口民族[edit]

各来源的人口数字不一：百度百科引用2019年末户籍人口6819人；镇政府网站乡镇概况记全镇人口7902人，未注明统计年份；博雅地名网记为7300多人。[6][1][3]

经济[edit]

农业上，除大棚蔬菜与美蕉外，本镇还产木薯、地栽香菇，并发展禽畜饲养。[1]

1985年创办的永定（金砂）菜干厂生产“土楼”牌菜干，列为闽西八大干之一。[4]

名胜古迹[edit]

金谷寺位于西田村，始建于南宋景定元年（1260年），寺内原供奉定光佛，1961年列为省级文物保护单位。[8][13]

张鼎丞纪念馆设在中央红色交通线教育基地内，展陈面积650平方米，2024年11月18日投入使用。[12]

中央红色交通线纪念馆位于金砂镇，展示1930年开辟的上海至中央苏区秘密交通线的历史，馆内陈列部分交通员的生平。[11]

据政府网站所载，金砂境内共有21处革命遗址，是永定区革命遗址最多的乡镇。[1]

下金村石陂头有清代总兵张振伊、张子顺的古墓，见下金村条目。[4]

著名人物[edit]

张鼎丞1898年12月生于金砂乡西湖寨村，1981年去世。他1927年入党，是闽西革命根据地的主要创建人之一；1954年至1974年担任最高人民检察院检察长，此后至1980年为全国人大常委会副委员长。[9]

张锦辉（1915—1930）生于金砂乡西田村，少年时以山歌宣传革命，有“红色小歌仙”之称。[10][1]

海军将领赖金华生于1918年，福建永定人，家乡为下金村，2014年去世。[14][15]
