朱罗村位于堂堡镇的西北部，在茫荡山脚下，北靠虎岗乡，东与赛智村相连。[2]

村名来历：村原名耩禾坑；清代黄世仁取得功名后，村名改为珠罗坑，后简作朱罗。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

土地革命时期，村中曾在大路背设立苏维埃政权。建国前，此地隶堂堡乡公所侏罗保，1949年后归湖雷七区三堡村政府；1951年改属堂堡十二区三堡乡，1957年，它并入堂堡乡。[1]

1958年起本地为钢铁公社的一个管理区；1961年归堂堡工委下的三堡公社，1972年并入堂堡公社，成为侏罗大队。1984年此地为堂堡乡珠罗村民委员会，后几经更名，终为朱罗村民委员会；2020年1月起属堂堡镇朱罗村民委员会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村中有山林和竹木，另有铁矿，据博雅地名网所载尚未开发利用。[2]

文化[edit]

村里有清代古民间建筑两座，另有祠堂。民谣、山歌、龙舞和庙会在村中流传，每年四月举行迎神活动。[2]
