三堡村位于堂堡镇北部的茫荡洋山麓，距镇政府约3.3公里。[1][2]

村名来历：村前有一座马鞍形的山，村落在山背，因而得名三堡；村子又称马山靠。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

前清时，此地属丰田里。1949年设三堡政府，1951年改为三堡公社，1972年并入堂堡公社。[2]

1984年起，村的建制为堂堡乡三堡村民委员会；此后，2020年1月，它改归堂堡镇管辖。[1]

红军第八团团长阙树槐为本村人，烈士。[2]

文化[edit]

村中的奎文书馆始建于明万历年间，清乾隆五十一年（1786年）改建为现存的样式，坐东朝西，占地约900平方米，是村中保留的清代古建筑。[1]

前清时，阙氏族人办起奎文馆，另设横经馆，村中教育由此有了底子。[2]
