磜下村是堂堡镇北部的行政村，位于茫荡洋山麓，与上杭县的稔田镇、太拨乡相邻，距永定县城约25公里，是镇内占地面积最大的行政村。[1][2]

村名来历：村中居住之处门前有一道水寨，客家话里「磜」与「寨」同音，且村地势较低，因而得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年前此地属堂溪乡公所的龙潭保，土地革命时期曾设苏维埃政权。1949年后归湖雷七区三堡村，1951年属十二区三堡乡，1957年并入堂堡乡政府。[1]

1958年为钢铁人民公社下的磜下大队，1961年改属堂堡公社，1972年仍称磜下大队。2020年1月，磜下村民委员会改归堂堡镇；此前自1984年起，它名为堂堡乡磜下村民委员会。[1]

2022年10月，磜下村获认定为第二批「福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。产品为高粱的磜下村，在2023年12月被评为福建省2023年度「一村一品」专业村；永定区于2026年6月把磜下村列为2023年区级「一村一品」专业村。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村地处茫荡洋大山的山麓，山林和竹林较多，竹席、竹碗、竹雕等竹制品和笋干、冬笋是村里的主要产物。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

北部的茫荡洋大山中有百丈寨瀑布、风车口、棋盘石、仙人洞等景观。[2]
