新侨村位于仙师镇东部，濒临永定河，是沿河从永定城区进入仙师镇的第一个行政村，距县城约7千米。[1]村民以种养为主要生计。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的由来是：因水库搬迁，村子由华侨村分出，沿用旧名中的「侨」字，取名新侨。[1]

原华侨村下辖十几个自然村。1999年，村子因棉花滩水电站搬迁，改设新侨村民委员会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

全村面积约3平方公里，有绿竹100余亩、水田200余亩。村内设有仙师中学（含职高）和新侨小学。[1]

人口[edit]

经济[edit]

除「六月红」早熟芋外，村中还产柚子、东魁杨梅和美国加州奈李等水果。[1]

文化[edit]
