金寨村位于仙师镇东北部，与上杭县丰稔镇接壤，东侧与大阜村为邻，西南、西北两面临龙湖水域。[1]全村共有5个自然村、9个村民小组。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村子原属上杭管辖，旧称七姓村。经革命暴动后，由苏维埃政府改称金寨，大队也以此命名。[1]

1949年前，这里是大院乡金寨堡；1949年后成为金砂区金寨乡，撤区并乡时仍称金寨乡。之后归大金公社的金寨管理区，1965年并社后改属仙师公社，为金寨大队。1984年，改为金寨村民委员会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

全村竹林620亩（毛竹），山林12378亩，耕地1332亩。村中水源丰富。果品有脐橙和琯溪蜜柚，也有三红柚、黄柚与柑桔、砂糖桔；养殖方面有山羊，并产蜂蜜。[1]

文化[edit]

博雅地名网称金寨村是革命基点村，参加红军的有90人，革命烈士有39位。[1]

2023年1月、2021年1月，金寨村先后被命名为龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」，依次对应2022年度、2020年度。[1]
