秀富村位于仙师镇北部，离镇区约11千米，四周环山，东与西洋村、书华村相接，北与大阜村、金寨村为邻，西面临近龙湖旅游风景区。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

开基祖七世公由西洋迁来，建造的祠堂对联可作佐证。村口石板桥旁立有一块嘉庆四年所刻石碑，碑文为「秀富乡」，村名由此而来。[1][2]

此地在1949年前属大院乡。新中国成立后改属金砂区，其间一度归西华乡；撤区并乡后，本村划入大金乡，公社化之后随大金公社运转。1965年，公社合并为仙师公社，本村称秀富大队；1984年改为秀富村民委员会。[1]

村中山林面积有2800多亩，主要种植水稻和烤烟；部分农户种红心柚、橙子和琯溪蜜柚，也有不少村民外出打工。[1]
