务田村位于仙师镇东部，有永定河与金砂溪两条河流经村。[1][2]全村由务义、利坊、凹下、务山4个自然村组成，主要产业是种植「六月红」早熟芋，村子被称为「芋子之村」。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历是：义坪与岭田两地合并时，各取一字而成「务田」。[1]

民国时此地隶属大院乡的务义保，1949年初改属金砂区，之后设务田乡。撤区并乡时，这里归仙师务田管理会。1958年仙师公社成立，本村成为务田大队；1984年改称务田村民委员会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村子地处镇域东部，年均气温约20℃，年降水量在1500至1600毫米之间，适宜种植多种经济作物。[1]

离县城10公里，离仙师街2公里，交通便利。[2]

人口[edit]

博雅地名网所载，全村544户、2247人，劳动力1195人（年份未注）。[1]

经济[edit]

全村耕地1215亩，森林7992亩。农业以水稻、烤烟和「六月红」早熟芋为主；果园以琯溪蜜柚、东魁杨梅、柑桔为主，另有早钟六号枇杷。[1]

2008年，村中先后组建了「六月红」早熟芋专业合作社和蜜柚专业合作社。[1]

文化[edit]

2016年7月，本村列入第六批全国一村一品示范村镇，依托产品为永定六月红早熟芋。[1][3]

2020年12月，本村入选2019年度福建省「一村一品」示范村名单（六月红早熟芋），同月，本村获龙岩市认定，属「龙岩市第一批中级版绿盈乡村」。2021年2月，本村上榜福建省「2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。2021年10月，龙岩市农业农村局把本村认定为市级「一村一品」专业村（永定六月红早熟芋）。2021年11月，本村获福建省爱卫办命名，称号为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
