仙师镇位于福建省龙岩市永定区西南部，镇政府设在仙师村，离区城约11千米。[1]镇域的东侧与金砂乡、城郊镇毗连，南侧和峰市镇以及广东的大埔县接壤，西侧靠洪山乡，北侧与上杭县稔田镇为邻。[1][2]全镇现辖16个行政村，2019年末户籍人口20116人。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明清时期，今镇域归溪南里管辖。民国时期分属第二区、溪南区，并区后归第一区，当时又称大院乡。[4]
新中国成立后，镇域先后属金砂区、溪南区和第八区。1957年定名为仙师乡，1958年改设仙师公社；1966年至1976年间称立新公社，1980年恢复仙师公社之名，1984年再度改为仙师乡，下辖14个村委会。[4]
1989年9月，大坪、岭背、车前坝、杨梅下这4个自然村析出自务田村，设立大岭村。[4]
1999至2000年间，棉花滩水电站库区移民安置，华侨村撤销，分设华坊、新侨两村，乡内村委会增至16个。[4][7][8]
2014年10月，经福建省政府批复，撤销仙师乡，改设仙师镇；新镇的辖区即原乡辖区，镇政府仍在原处。[4]
地理环境[edit]
镇域面积，百度百科记为151.42平方千米，博雅地名网记为146平方千米。[1][3]
山地出产松、杉和杂木，并产松脂；矿藏有锰、黏土、高岭土和稀土。电力设施方面，有一座110千伏变电所，并有5座小型水电站。[3]
龙梅铁路与一条四级混凝土公路穿过镇境，公路自县城通往棉花滩水电站；铁路在仙师设站。[3][6]

2000年，全乡有164个村民小组，共4543户、19024人。[3]
2019年末，全镇户籍人口为20116人。[1]
经济[edit]
以农业为主，作物有水稻、烤烟、蔬菜、瓜果，以及「六月红」早熟芋。[3]
1998年，「六月红」芋注册了商标。[3]
农业农村部于2018年7月把仙师镇列为第八批全国一村一品示范村镇，依托的产品是永定六月红早熟芋。[2]
文化[edit]
地名源于仙师宫。相传明末清初，黄姓者与子、婿三人为当地除害，七坊父老立庙祭祈，称「三圣公王」；后经皇帝敕封，庙名为「仙师」宫，后人便以宫名称呼此地。[2]
福建省爱卫办于2020年12月给仙师镇授予「福建省卫生乡镇」称号；2021年1月，镇上榜2020年度龙岩市「平安乡镇（街道）」名单。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]

著名人物[edit]
马永昌，别名阿细，生于1908年，卒于1940年，出生地为西洋坪。1928年，他在永定暴动中投身革命，同年经张鼎丞引荐入党。此后数年，他在中共永定县委担任巡视员和秘书，又当过县赤卫大队长、独立团政治委员。1940年5月，他在大阜被国民党顽固派杀害。[5]
王见川，字道存，号畜斋，锦丰村人。他在清雍正十年（1732年）中乡试，次年登进士榜。[2]
