古二村位于城郊镇西南部，距县城约5公里，被列为市级新村建设示范点。[1]

1958年，此地为古镇公社的第二大队，简称古二大队，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放前，此地属九乡的龙溪保；解放后并入古镇乡，在龙安寨一带设农会。1961年，它归古镇公社，名为古二大队；1968年8月转隶城关公社。1984年初，划入城郊公社，同年四月改属城郊乡，名称是古二村民委员会。[1]

2021年1月，村子被命名为「2020年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」；2021年11月，获评「2021年福建省卫生村」；2024年1月，又被列入「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」名单。[1]

地理环境[edit]

林地7715亩、耕地765亩，全村总面积8842亩；有6个自然村、7个村民小组。[1]

村中有岗前温泉，水温37至40度，水质清澈透明。[1]

经济[edit]

主要产业有烤烟、六月红早熟芋和蜂蜜。工业方面，村里有一家机制水泥砖厂和一家竹丝制品厂。[1]
