三峰村位于城郊镇西南部，地处县道抚石公路一侧，距县城约3公里，村子于2007年纳入县城区规划。[1]

村名的来历：棉花滩水电站建设时整村迁来此地，新安置点沿用了原村的名字。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放前此地属峰市特种区，1949年划为三河乡。1958年转入上水乡，公社化后成为幸福人民公社的一部分，称三河大队；随后归峰市公社，仍名三河大队。1976年分出，改名三峰大队；1984年6月，峰市乡下设三峰村民委员会。[1]

棉花滩水电站建设期间，村民迁至古镇罗拳头与湖头坝一带。[1]

2021年1月，村子被命名为「2020年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」；2021年11月，获评「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]

地理环境[edit]

耕地342亩、林地1078亩，全村总面积1460亩；有13个村民小组，村内设有幼儿园1所。[1]
