上下斜村位于城郊镇南部，地处福建与广东两省交界一带，距县城约13公里，是革命基点村。[1][2]

村名由上斜与下斜两个自然村各取首字合成。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

书院乡曾在1949至1953年间设上下斜农会，那之前此地属龙磜保。1960年，此地归古镇公社，村名上下斜大队；1966年一度改名红星大队，1968年8月回到城关公社后复用原名。1984年1月并入城郊公社；同年四月，它划归城郊乡，名称改为上下斜村民委员会。[1][2]

2021年1月，村子被命名为「2020年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」；2023年1月，又获「2022年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」称号；2024年1月，获「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」称号。[1]

地理环境[edit]

林地17826亩，耕地550亩，合计全村18376亩；村内有5个自然村、5个村民小组。[1][2]

村庄属县城区饮用水源保护区。村里竹资源丰富，是龙岩市竹业生产的重点村。[1][2]

经济[edit]

村中的特色产业是毛竹与蜂蜜。[1]
