桃泉村位于峰市镇，由旱塘里、桃泉两个自然村组成。相传开居时村中多桃树，山间又有泉水流出，因此得名桃泉。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放前，此地同样属于峰市特种区；此后划入第九区的长泉乡。1958年3月，它以桃泉高级社的名义归上水乡管辖；公社时期此地并入桃泉大队，直到1984年6月，才有了桃泉村民委员会的名称。[1]

旱塘里的曾姓村民，已经搬到城郊乡安置。居民多姓肖的桃泉自然村，下设桃一、桃二两个村民小组。[1]

这里的特产有“六月红”芋子、沙田柚和黄花梨，此外还种烤烟。[1]
