虞溪村位于龙潭镇东部，与新罗区、南靖县相邻，地处三县交界处。村名取自村中两条溪流，村内林地面积较大。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

清代已称虞溪村，村内有大虞溪与小虞溪两条溪流，村名即由溪名而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时此地属上丰乡虞溪保。1953年，大、小虞溪两村合设双溪乡，1957年撤区并乡后入龙潭乡。人民公社时期归抚市公社龙潭管理区；1962年，龙潭公社下分为大虞溪与小虞溪两个大队；1965年又合为双溪大队，回到抚市公社。[1]

经济[edit]

2011年，村民人均收入为8024元。村里以农业种植、矿产采掘、交通运输与选煤加工为主。[2]

文化[edit]

虞溪村获得的称号包括：2021年1月，被命名为「2020年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」；2023年1月，被命名为「2022年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」；2024年1月，被命名为「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」。[1]
