联中村位于龙潭镇东端，与南靖县及新罗区适中镇交界，村中石灰石资源丰富，村民多以运输与种植为业。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

此村由岭下、东坑、蔡坑岭、后斜、西坑五处自然村合并而成，1958年6月组建为联中农业社，地名随之定下。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

新中国成立前，此地隶属上丰乡的岭下保；1949年后纳入第四区。公社化后归抚市公社的龙潭管理区，1961年改隶龙潭公社，成为联中大队。1984年设抚市乡联中村委会，1992年归抚市镇；1993年划入龙潭乡，村委会名不变；1997年撤乡设镇，村委会隶属龙潭镇。[1]

经济[edit]

2011年，农民人均收入为8260元。辖区内有水泥厂数家，村民以运输业为主，兼营种植。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

仙湖洞又名仙狐洞，位于村中西坑一带的山腰，是一座石灰岩溶洞。洞深约1300米，内有十余个厅堂，石钟乳、石笋和石幔发育良好。[3]

文化[edit]

2024年1月，联中村被命名为「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」。[1]
