历史沿革[edit]
民国时期这里属培丰乡，设镇东保，1949年设立农会。1952年此地设乡，1958年撤区后仍属培丰乡。1959年划入坎市公社，1961年改为培丰公社所辖，1963年又随公社合并，归坎市公社。[2]
1984年属坎市镇；1993年培丰设镇后仍由培丰管辖；1994年另设振东村委会。[2]
2021年1月，村庄获授「2020年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」称号；2024年1月，又获授「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」称号。[1]
经济[edit]
村内矿产有石灰石、铁矿、煤炭和粘土，境内有樟坑铁矿有限公司。[1]

下辖的樟坑小组属革命基点村。[1]
