文东村位于培丰镇北部，东侧与孔夫村毗邻，西南面与文溪村衔接。村名的由来很简单：它位于文溪村的东边。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
民国时期这里属培丰乡的溪东保。1978年，此地从文溪大队析出，改隶龙岩地区的培丰煤矿，并设“五七”农场。[2]
1984年，煤矿把此地交还坎市镇管理，名称定为文溪东村民委员会。1993年培丰设镇后，改由培丰镇统辖。[2]
福建省爱卫办于2021年11月把文东村列为「2021年福建省卫生村」。2023年1月，村庄获授「2022年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」称号，2024年1月又获授「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」称号。[1]
