洋多村位于湖坑镇南溪沿岸，处在永定与平和之间的交通要道旁，下辖低坝、老屋角两个自然村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历是：先祖曾从永定迁居大溪，后又来到此地放牧羊群，故名洋多。[1]
1949年前，这里属背隆保。1955年并为南溪乡，1958年至1960年冬属管理区。1961年分出大队时，在老屋角设管委会。1968年冬至1978年间改由革命领导小组负责，1979年又恢复管委会的原名。[2]
1984年8月设湖坑乡洋多村委会，1993年撤乡设镇后为湖坑镇洋多村民委员会。[2]
