湖坑镇东北边的洪坑村，离集镇5公里，属福建土楼的重点村之一，村内的洪坑土楼群已列为全国重点文物保护单位，村子也是国家「5A级」旅游景区所在地。[1][2]
村名原为洪川，因溪流从古竹方向流来而得名，后因川与坑意思相近，改称洪坑。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
林氏先祖几经迁徙，最终来到此地开基，形成以林氏为主的聚落。新中国成立前村里分洪东、洪西两保；建国后先隶属丰盛村，1958年公社化时成为洪坑大队，1984年起为湖坑乡管辖的洪坑村，1993年改镇后仍属湖坑镇。[1]
文化[edit]
村内另有几座以生土建造的建筑：天后宫、日新学堂、林氏宗祠与关帝庙。[2]
2012年12月，洪坑村列入第一批中国传统村落名录；2020年11月被授予第六届全国文明村镇称号；2021年2月，村子被司法部、民政部列入第八批全国民主法治示范村（社区）名单。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
洪坑土楼群的建成年代可追溯到宋末元初（13世纪），林氏在此开基，群内土楼既有明代建造的，也有清代、民国时期的。[3][4]
振成楼建于民国元年（1912年），由林鸿超兄弟等人建造，楼体按八卦布局，内部空间设计精致，据百度百科，是福建土楼的典型代表之一。[2][5]
奎聚楼始建于清道光十四年（1834年），1839年建成，宫殿式的方形土楼，有「小布达拉宫」之称。[6]
福裕楼建于清光绪六年（1880年），为三堂四落的府第式土楼，是洪坑土楼群的核心组成部分。[7]
如升楼俗称米升楼，为圆形小楼，建于清光绪年间，是林氏民居。[8]
著名人物[edit]
林霭民（1906至1964年），字瑞章，洪坑人，毕业于福建省立第九中学，擅长诗文和书法。据博雅地名网，他曾受胡文虎之聘任香港《星岛日报》社长。[1]
