基安村位于抚市镇南端的山区，全村由五个自然村组成，都是革命基点村。村子与南靖县接壤，西南靠近东华山。[1][3]

1949年初，村名取「基本安定」之意定为基安。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时此地归上丰乡的苦竹坑保管辖。土地革命时曾联合设过乡苏维埃政府。1949年初取名「基安」，划为第四区一个村政府的辖地；1952年成立基安乡，公社化后归一个管理区；1962年设大队，1984年改为基安村民委员会。[1]

人群[edit]

村中在册的革命烈士有4人，被评为革命「五老」人员的有14人。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2023年1月，基安村被命名为「2022年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」；2024年1月，又被命名为「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」。[1]
