藩坑村位于湖雷镇西北角，东侧邻溪口村，南侧接弼鄱村，西侧与合溪乡相连，北侧与堂堡一带相邻，全村辖七个村民小组。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

先来开居的是藩姓人家，村中小溪初称藩溪；水流变小后渐成水坑，遂改称藩坑。[1]

迁居[edit]

沈姓于清乾隆年间迁入，赖姓一支于明嘉靖年间迁入。廖姓则因20世纪30年代一位道士在此传道而来居。[2]

革命历史[edit]

富油岽为革命基点村。[2]
