锦溪村位于湖雷镇北部，距镇区约八千米，村民倚永定河岸而居，辖象牙凹背、上溪东两个自然村。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村子居于永定河岸上游偏东之处，最初称上溪东，后改名锦溪。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1982年1月分出设村。1958年为锦溪大队，属湖雷区；1984年建乡后设锦溪村委会。[2]

文化[edit]

锦溪村于2021年11月获评「2021年福建省卫生村」，由省爱卫办确定。[2]
