淑雅村位于湖雷镇南部，村辖淑雅瑶、客祖斜、张屋等八个自然村，其中上龙门为革命基点村。村内有辉绿岩矿藏。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

早年定居者以烧炭为业，炭窑与住屋都用剖开的毛竹片覆顶，人称“竹片窑”，后演变为淑雅。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

早先村子隶属湖雷区的淑雅乡。1958年公社化之后，水竹里划回湖雷公社，设淑雅大队，1984年建乡后设淑雅村委会。[3]

经济[edit]

村民擅长种植烤烟，村中耕地年年种烟。村内溪流上建有两座梯级电站。[2]

文化[edit]

淑雅村在2023年12月获得2023年度福建省森林村庄称号。[1]
