历史沿革[edit]
1981年冬分出设村，1984年建乡后改称桐田村民委员会。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
复兴楼为清代民居，据载建于清朝年间，楼龄已逾四百年。1931年，同乡人士举荐的熊瑶山回乡任永定县县长，他修缮了复兴楼，加固大门，并将永定县政府设于此楼。[1][2]
村后山为桐鼓寨。乾隆年间吴氏族人在桐鼓寨侧角的老鸦窠一带创办高岗书院，供学童读书，书院今已崩废，仅留石基。[1]
文化[edit]
桐田村于2021年11月获评「2021年福建省卫生村」，由省爱卫办确定。[1]
