历史沿革[edit]
1949至1956年间，觉川归思东乡管辖；1956至1958年称思觉管理区；1961年，它与下洋合并为思东大队下辖；1980年下半年，改设觉川大队；1984年，觉川村民委员会成立。[1]
觉川村先后获得多项称号：2020年12月，被认定为「龙岩市第一批中级版绿盈乡村」；2021年11月，获评「2021年福建省卫生村」；2023年2月，入选「福建省第三批高级版绿盈乡村」名单；2026年1月，被确定为「福建省2026年度乡村振兴示范村」。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
村中的慎德楼在2022年定为县级文保单位，附近还有富源楼等建筑。[2]
