中川村位于福建省龙岩市永定区下洋镇南部，距集镇约1公里，是爱国侨领胡文虎的故里，村中有中川土楼古村落。[1][2]

村名的由来：一条山坑水自北向南穿村而过，原称中坑；抗战时期，因水流变大，由坑改称川，遂名中川。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949至1956年，此地是中川乡，下辖中坑村、下赤坑与科坪里。1956年撤区开乡之际，它成为中川管理区；1958年成立公社后，管理区改称中川大队。1984年，中川村民委员会成立，至今。[1]

村内先后有多个荣誉：2015年10月，中川村入选「福建省第一批省级传统村落」；2016年12月，列入「第四批中国传统村落」名录；2021年1月，被认定为「第三批福建省侨乡文化名镇名村」；同年11月，获评「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

中川胡氏家庙又名安定堂，建于明万历年间，是胡氏族人祭祀开基始祖的家庙，2009年列为福建省文物保护单位。[3]

中川古村落已开辟的景点有虎豹别墅纪念馆、虎豹塔与中川古街。虎豹别墅为胡文虎兄弟所建，以两人的名字命名。[2][4]

著名人物[edit]

中川村出过多位人物，包括清代的胡焯猷（雍正、乾隆年间人，例贡生，通医术）、胡曰皆（1907—1961），以及艺术家胡一川、外交家胡成放、新闻工作者胡仙等。[1]
