凤城街道是福建省龙岩市永定区下辖的街道，位于永定城区，是全区的政治、经济和文化中心。[1]

凤城街道辖区内设13个社区，其中大园、长化、龙角、仙峰4个为棉花滩水电站移民社区；2015年，原凤城镇的建制改为街道办事处。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

建县前，今镇区一带属溪南里第五图，称“田心”。1935年这里是第一区城厢区下的一个联保；1940年并入城厢镇，1942年划归溪南乡。[2]

1950年设龙岗区龙岗村，次年改龙岗镇，1952年改称凤城镇。1956年改为城关镇，1958年设城关公社，1966年改为先锋公社，1973年恢复城关公社之名。[2]

1983年7月设立凤城镇，辖南郊、西北、东坊3个居委会，以及书院、大洲两个村委会。1997年书院划出下坑居委会，书院与大洲的村委会改为居委会。[2]

2000年4月，南郊居委会划出部分区域设金凤居委会，东坊与大洲居委会各划出部分设东兴居委会。同年，长化、大园、龙角、仙峰四个居委会因棉花滩库区移民而设立。2004年7月增设龙凤居委会，全镇共13个居委会。[2]

2015年3月起，凤城镇的建制改为凤城街道办事处。[2]

地名取自所靠山峰形似凤的说法，意为凤山脚下所建的城市。[3]

地理环境[edit]

街道与城郊、西溪、金砂三个乡镇相邻，总面积31.6平方千米。[1]

省道309线、抚石线、永岐线三条公路穿境而过，龙梅铁路（龙岩至梅州）贯穿辖区，永定火车站设在大洲店上。[1][4]

文化[edit]

辖区内有永定一中、永定二中、永定三中3所中学，侨荣、卫校2所职业中专，7所小学和6所公办幼儿园；区医院、区中医院、区妇幼保健站和区卫生防疫站也设在这里。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

辖区内有凤山公园、南山公园，此外还有孔庙、涵白师太朝圣地、革命烈士纪念碑，以及南北两口古井。[1]

革命旧址有红四军司令部、政治部和万人祝捷大会旧址，此外还有毛泽东、周恩来、陈毅等人的旧居。[1]

「红四军前委旧址赖家祠」在九一中路110号，始建于1834年（清道光十四年），砖木结构，朝南，面宽约13米、进深约21米，用地约350平方米；博雅地名网另记其年代为1929年。[3]

著名人物[edit]

赖先号中峰，字伯启，先世居丰田里，其后移居凤城。弘治三年（1490年）考中进士，名列二甲，是永定建县后首位中进士者。[3]

赖月华（1905～1944）出生于凤城镇西门赖屋的一户农家。[3]
