和目村隶属福建省龙岩市新罗区苏坂镇，位于镇域东南部，距镇政府驻地18公里。[1]

地名由来[edit]

房屋分布于各山岭之间，排列成“目”字形，俗称和目坑，谐音“和睦坑”，寓意村民和睦相处、邻里友好。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村庄海拔487米，耕地492亩，林地6786亩，石灰石资源丰富，适合发展高山反季节食用菌和蔬菜。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

村里有6个村民小组，共154户，人口585人，党员21名（博雅地名网，未注年份）。村民收入来源以种养和劳务输出为主。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放前属旧高山乡，解放初划归庆云乡，1957年撤区并乡后归庆美乡。1965年起设苏坂公社和睦坑大队，1984年设和睦坑村委会，2007年改称和目村委会，2014年以后称苏坂镇和目村委会。[1]

2024年1月，和目村获评2023年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」。[1]
