西楼村隶属福建省龙岩市新罗区苏坂镇，位于镇域南部，离镇政府8公里，村中有乌石潭瀑布风景区。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村子西侧有一座楼房，村内单一方位有此显著建筑，故称西楼。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村内石灰石矿丰富。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

人口1723人（博雅地名网，未注年份），分为15个村民小组，有556户。村中有党员35名，村民组长代表39名，村两委成员6人，其中女干部1名。[1]

耕地约1036亩，林地约7430亩，果林786亩。村民主要靠生猪饲养、大田耕作和外出打工谋生，住宅拥挤。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村内有乌石潭瀑布风景区。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

原为旧高山乡辖地，后来归入沙和区，再改隶白沙区的庆云乡。1957年撤区并乡后归入庆美乡，1958年公社化后改属庆美公社。[1]

1964年分出西楼大队，1979年冬又复设，1984年改为西楼村委会，2014年为苏坂镇西楼村委会。[1]

2021年1月，村里获评2020年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」；2023年12月，西楼村被认定为「2023年度福建省“一村一品”专业村」，产品为云潭手工米粉。[1]
