瓦洋村隶属福建省龙岩市新罗区苏坂镇，位于镇域南部，离镇政府8公里，村中住宅较为密集。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
村中约有1600多人，编为12个村民小组，住户434户。面积2.585平方公里，其中耕地955亩，林地7848亩（未注年份）。[1]
村中无工矿企业，也无村财收入。村民生活水平不高，主要靠生猪饲养、大田耕作和外出打工谋生。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
解放前属旧高山乡，解放初归沙和区、白沙区的庆云乡。1957年撤区并乡后并入庆美乡，1964年设瓦洋大队，1979年单独设立瓦洋大队，1984年改设苏坂乡瓦洋村委会，2013年改称苏坂镇瓦洋村委会。[1]
2024年1月，村里获评2023年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」；2024年11月，瓦洋村被认定为「2024年度福建省“一村一品”专业村」，主要产品为云潭手工米粉。[1]
