历史沿革[edit]
村名原为马家山，据说由姓马的人家开辟此地；后来取「马」字的谐音「家」，再以「佳」字定名为佳山。[1]
解放前此地称佳山保，解放后初期归芹山乡管辖。1956年组成佳山农业高级社，1958年改为大队，1984年设立村委会。[1]
2021年1月，村子被命名为2020年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」；2024年1月又被命名为2023年度同名称号。2024年11月，佳山村被认定为2024年度福建省「一村一品」专业村（脐橙）。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村子处在群山起伏的山岭之间，境内有石灰岩、煤矿等矿产资源。[1]

村内的名胜古迹有青龙宫、下河庵和观音庙。[1]
