岩山镇是福建省龙岩市新罗区下辖的镇，位于新罗区东北部，镇人民政府驻芹元村。[1][5]

岩山镇东面与漳平市的永福镇、拱桥镇相邻，西南面连接曹溪街道，西面与铁山街道接壤，北面紧邻雁石镇。截至2020年6月，全镇辖13个行政村。[1][2]

镇域以山地为主，2019年末户籍人口为4895人。[1] 镇内的龙山寺始建于明代。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

明代，此地属龙岩县的铁石乡，乡内分节惠里，里下有坑园社，刘坑、益安村与后埔等处已有人家聚居。[1][4] 清朝时它划归龙岩州外山前社，民国初改隶内山前社。[4]

1929年至1931年初，小丁坑村和易母村境内的苏维埃组织受岩永区统辖。[4] 此后十多年间，这一带先隶雁石区内山乡，继而归第三区，1941年末改属第一区（岩东），并设内山乡。[4]

建国初期设岩山区，岩山之名取自「增岩」「芹山」两村名各一字。[2] 1952年，芹山、五玉两乡被划出，归雁厦区与雁石区；1957年撤区并乡，改设岩山乡。[4]

1958年9月改为岩山人民公社，翌年合入雁石公社；1961年再度分出，1965年重新并入，1972年复设公社，1984年7月复称岩山乡。[4]

关于建镇的年份，两处记载不一：博雅地名网作2013年12月撤乡建镇，百度百科则作2014年1月由岩山乡改为岩山镇，此处两说并列。[1][2][4]

2014年9月，岩山镇获环境保护部颁发的「2012年—2013年度国家级生态乡镇」称号。[2] 2024年1月，岩山镇获评「2023年度龙岩市平安乡镇（街道）」。[2]

地理环境[edit]

镇域多山，山岭连绵，博雅地名网称境内为龙岩主要林区之一，山林面积较大。[3]

镇域面积，百度百科记为103.06平方千米，博雅地名网则约为101平方千米，两者不同，信息栏取前者。[1][2]

人口民族[edit]

按2019年年末统计，全镇在册户籍人口共4895人。[1] 博雅地名网所载的早年人口数字未注明年份，此处不取。[2]

经济[edit]

据博雅地名网的概况，镇内蕴藏石灰石、煤炭和水利资源，工业上曾以水泥和轻质碳酸钙（轻钙）为主，并有一家电力公司经营水电。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

龙山寺位于龙宫山上，始建于明代，海拔1407米，与天宫山遥相呼应，寺区内设有石锣、石鼓、石钟等景物。当地有「先龙宫，后天宫」的说法。[3]
