历史沿革[edit]

村名来自驻地的林婆祠，故名林祠。[1]

解放前属铜江乡，解放初归江山区岭顶村。1957年撤区并乡后改入万山乡岭顶村；1958年，林婆祠为万山人民公社的生产大队所在；1965年两公社合并，林祠划入江山公社。1984年设林祠村民委员会，村中下辖林婆祠自然村。2011年7月起属江山镇。[1]
