汪洋村是小池镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域中部，紧邻赣龙铁路，离319国道约1公里，离龙岩市区18公里。村名沿用平坦田地的俗称而来。[1]

地名由来[edit]

因附近地势平坦，当地俗称平坦的田地为「田洋」，解放前称「外洋」，后演变为今名。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村东侧有龙门溪流过，博雅地名网称该溪是福建第二大河九龙江的源流之一。村域土地较少，矿产有石灰矿和铁矿。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

龙池书院位于村域内的旗顶山山下，是清代书院建筑，已列为县级文物保护单位。[2] 村内另有南华岩、留阳洞等景点。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2026年1月，汪洋村入选「福建省2026年度乡村振兴示范村」名单。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1957年撤区并乡后，此地仍归小池乡。1958年公社化时编入小池公社的汪美大队，1961年又单独设立汪洋大队，1984年改属汪洋村委会，村名沿用至今。[1]
