南山村是小池镇下辖的行政村，位于龙岩市西部，距龙岩市区约18公里，东南与龙门相接，西南与永定相接，北邻上杭。村名因地处小池南部的山脚下而得。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村内地形较为简单，以耕地和建设用地为主。村庄北侧有一条河流自西向东流过，村外交通主要依靠省道福三线，它也穿过村庄中部。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放前南山隶属小池乡，解放初设南山村，划入小池区。1957年撤区并乡后又回到小池乡。1958年公社化时南山独立组成大队，归小池公社管辖；1984年起设南山村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，村庄获评「2021年福建省卫生村」，由福建省爱卫办命名。[1]
