黄美村位于319国道边，距大池镇中心约5公里，博雅地名网称它是大池镇最大的行政村，也是「大池花生」的主要产区。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

据传黄姓人家来此开基，此地初名黄坊坪。后取黄坊、坪尾两个自然村各一字，因“尾”与“美”谐音，改名黄美。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期此地分为黄坊、坪尾两村。1941年列为黄坊保，1950年两村并为黄美村。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2021年11月，本村获「2021年福建省卫生村」命名（福建省爱卫办）。[1]
  • 2022年8月，本村经龙岩市农业农村局认定，列为「龙岩市2022年市级一村一品专业村」（花生）。[1]
  • 2022年10月，本村经福建省农业农村厅认定，列为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]
  • 2023年12月，本村列入「龙岩市2023年度乡村振兴示范村镇」名单。[1]
  • 2023年12月，本村经认定，为2023年度福建省「一村一品」专业村（花生）。[1]
  • 2024年2月，本村成为「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」的创建对象。[1]
  • 2025年11月，本村入选「福建省第二批省级乡村振兴示范村」。[1]
